Following up on its March 27 lend-out of Isuzu D-MAX, Isuzu mu-X and Isuzu PUVs as frontliners’ transport vehicles in Biñan and Sta. Rosa Laguna, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) lent additional one unit of Isuzu NLR and Isuzu QKR PUV to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to provide more units for DOTr’s FREE BUS SERVICE for frontliners, now servicing 19 routes in Luzon —to help the country’s healthcare and frontline workers in their fight to stop the further spread of the Coronavirus 2019 (CoViD-19).

The two PUVs from IPC would then be turned over to authorized operators for their deployment to 19 specified routes in Luzon, where the extended enhanced community quarantine has been enforced until April 30.

In addition to this, IPC’s dealer network initiated different efforts to support frontliners in their municipalities. Isuzu INTECO lent their Isuzu QKR PUV to transport healthcare workers and frontliners in the vicinity of Caloocan and Quezon City for free, Isuzu-BMD Motors provided relief goods to nearby communities, while Isuzu Iloilo provided Isuzu D-MAX unit for the city hospital and fire rescue group.

IPC President Hajime Koso said, “With this additional vehicle support, we at IPC hope that our dedicated and enduring heroes of today would find comfort and safety in their transport. Through our vehicles, we can help them fight the virus more efficiently and effectively.”
