Parts Development Engineer (1)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Works closely with parts sources, production engineers, and material planners to ensure all components and materials are correctly specified, qualified, and available for production.
• Conducts technical evaluation of localized parts off-tool sample in compliance with company standards through fitting and functional evaluation.
• Verifies local parts model application and providers recommendation of countermeasures for identified issues during pre-production trials.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related course.
• With at least 3 years of related experience in parts development; experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Proficient in parts technical specifications assessment.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma is an advantage.
• Results-driven with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure work environment.
• Good communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
