In strengthening its dealership network in the country, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) — the local arm of Japanese carmaker Isuzu—has recently opened its newest showroom in the Summer Capital of the country, Baguio City.

Isuzu Baguio, which is situated at the heart of Naguilian Road in the City of Pines, City, will cater to the growing business for the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

The 640-square meter showroom is equipped with state-of-the-art new and complete service facilities. The dealership is offering customers with PMS, check-up and maintenance, discounts on parts and service and on-site servicing.

Aside from the best-selling mu-X and D-MAX, the new dealership will also display its formidable truck line-up from the dependable all-new N-Series light-duty trucks (NLR77, NLR85, NMR85, NPR85, NQR75) for logistics and fleet needs, the medium-duty truck F-Series line-up (FRR, FSR, FVR, FVM), and the heavy-duty C & E-Series line-up suited for a larger scale business in the region.

All vehicles are now with Blue Power technology, a testament to the Japanese carmaker’s commitment in promoting clean environment. The latest innovation of Isuzu aims to provide better engine output, low emissions, fuel economy and excellent durability in all Isuzu vehicles.

The official opening of the new dealership was attended IPC head honchos such as its Executive Vice President Shojiro Sakoda and Yasuhiko Oyama Vice President for Sales, together with members of the local motoring media.

“We are very excited with the partnership with Isuzu Baguio,” Sakoda said. “The opening of Isuzu Baguio dealership signalized a huge demand in the business in the north especially in the business sector of fleet and mining industry. We are grateful that given the upcoming implementation of excise tax for next year, the company still progress an upbeat growth.”

At the start of the year, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturer of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) posted a remarkable stellar growth with 28-percent growth, allowing the commercial vehicle segment to dominate the chart.

“The automotive sector continues to grow every year and we are extremely optimistic to contribute in the growing truck segment,” Sakoda claimed.
